This is the best post I have seen in a long time I can't even add anything to it. Why God loves us is a mystery. I love to think that right now there is a MAN on the throne of God. It's amazing the jesus son of god would choose to stay a man for eternity, and also most likely bear the scars of his sacrificial death for us for eternity.
