Ear Crackling when swallowing but no fullness.?

Okay for 5 months now I've had ear crackles when I swallow or yawn after I had a bad cold.But if I look up my problem it Seems everyone has fullness. I went to an ENT and said I had fluid in my middle ear and said I was going to ear tubes in June 21st.But I have no ear fullness,plugness etc.
